Kim Kardashian is never “rude or catty” she is just “nervous”, says her sister Khloé.

Reality TV star Khloé insists her famous sibling is misunderstood by the general public. She has likened her to a music artist who comes alive on stage but is timid in everyday life.

“Kim is getting so comfortable in her skin. I don’t think people know she is incredibly shy? she is shy around people and sometimes it comes off as being rude or a little catty but she’s just nervous,” Khloé explained.

Kim split from her husband Kris Humphries after a 72-day marriage last year and they are now getting divorced.

She has moved on and is dating hip-hop star Kanye West, with Khloé saying she is much happier these days.

Khloé also discussed another of her sisters Kourtney, who is expected her second child with her partner Scott Disick.

Khloé and Scott haven’t always got on but are now firm friends – with Kourtney also close to Khloé’s husband Lamar Odom.

“Kourtney has a crush on Lamar,” Khloé joked.

The star and her basketball player spouse have decided to put their reality TV show Khloé and Lamar on hiatus, although she is keen to point out it isn’t cancelled.

“Lamar and I have been go, go, go and working so much we wanted the summer for ourselves,” she told Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O Show. “We wanted to go on vacation, Lamar and I haven’t even had a honeymoon yet. I said I wanted to take a break and also Lamar is training for the Olympics. I never cancelled anything and I just said I want the summer to ourselves.”

Justin Bieber is all grown up—kinda.

In a new interview with GQ, the 18-year-old pop star opens up—hesitantly—about his life as a “swaggy adult.”

When asked by the interviewer if he’s ever gotten “s–tfaced,” he explains eloquently: “For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself. I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before…But I never get out of control.”

The Biebs is also quick to defend our girl Kim Kardashian after one of his “business advisors” insults the reality star.

You guys are so mean, bro,” he says indignantly. “People say she doesn’t do anything; she actually does do stuff…She works hard.”

Bieber works hard himself, and he’s proud of his accomplishments. “I’ve never made a bad song,” he says.

And of course, like any teenage boy, he wants to reap the rewards of his hard work. During the interview, his tricked-out Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van arrives. It’s got three HD TVs, a computer dock and a fully operational recording studio. His friends try to guess how much it costs, and one reasons, “Definitely not a million.”

Hey, whatever amount this swag van set the Biebs back, we’re pretty sure he can foot the bill.

Don’t be surprised if you’re still watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians decades from now.

Yeah, we’re talking years and years because…

It sounds like the world’s most famous reality-series family is in it for the long haul.

“I hope they’ll want to film me in my old-folks home, where my kids will probably put me because I’ll be too evil,” Khloé, 27, told me while promoting Sunday’s premiere of KUWTK’s seventh season (at 9 p.m. on E!). “They’ll be changing my diapers on television.”

Big sister Kim, 31, says she’s not going anywhere either. “We’ve always said we’ll stop when it stops being fun,” she said. “We’re having such a good time, so there’s really no point stopping now.”

They insist they’re surprised the Kardashian reality empire is as big as it has become. “When we first signed on, we were just hoping people didn’t think we were too crazy,” Kim said. “But I think they are growing with us, whether they’re rooting for us in a situation or they’re loving seeing Kendall and Kylie grow up.”

Khloé added, “Because there are so many of us, people can connect to at least one of us. We’re not sitting there trying to pretend that we’re perfect. Even if they see that we’re having a difficult time, people can relate to that.”

And as we know, even President Barack Obama knows who they are.

“The president’s first joke at [the White House Correspondents' Dinner] was something about me,” Kim said. “The president knows my name? That’s the craziest thing in the world.”

Hey, a presidential endorsement could come in handy if she decides to run for mayor.
