Khloe and Lamar headed for a divorce over pregnancy troubles? Kim rushing to wed Kanye and get pregnant? Kourtney and Scott on the brink of a breakup after baby number three?

Please.

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian open up in the new issue of Us Weekly, out now, about the seemingly un-ending rumors and tabloid stories about their high-profile love lives.

“It’s so sad when some publications make up such hurtful lies,” X Factor host Khloe, 28, tells Us. (One magazine claims that Khloe’s husband, NBA star Lamar Odom, plans to leave his wife because she’s hasn’t yet conceived a child.)

Khloe’s sister Kim, 32, meanwhile, is allegedly “pregnant and alone” yet planning a “surprise wedding” to Kanye West, according to one magazine’s confusing recent cover stories. Counters the reality superstar, whose divorce from Kris Humphries isn’t yet final: “I’m happy with my life the way that it is.”

Kim Kardashian Gets Real on Marriage, Motherhood: “I Think I Need to Not Live in a Fairy-Tale Like That”

Hindsight is better than no sight at all, and Kim Kardashian seems eager to accept her newfound—and bracingly realistic—perspective.

In an interview with Glamour magazine—conducted after her marriage to Kris Humphries fell apart—Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian Odom (in her role as the voice of reason) sat down and discussed Kim’s new outlook on life and love.

And trust us, this is Kim like we’ve never heard her before.

“I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic,” she tells the mag, on newsstands Dec. 6, before delving into how her erstwhile fairy-tale mentality has been forever altered.

“It means that I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy-tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.”

As if on cue, Khloé then jumps in to defend her sister’s rose-colored outlook, saying, “I love Kim’s belief in love and the fact that she feels so strongly about it. She has that dream every girl has.”

And while Kim knowingly says that she doesn’t “have it right now,” Khloé was having none of her self-pity party.

“Which is fine, but I’m your sister and I know why you don’t have it right now. But I know you will get it again.”

As for Kim, she seems open to finding love again, albeit in a slightly more pragmatic, less whirlwind fashion.

“I hope I do,” she tells her sister. “But by then I hope maybe I’m a little bit more realistic…[about] the fact that what I want isn’t possible.”

As for what it is that she may impossibly desire, Khloe fills us in.

“What, a guy on a white horse coming to get you? That doesn’t happen!”

The conversation quickly followed from love and marriage to a baby carriage, with the once baby-crazy Kim wondering if motherhood was possibly not in the cards for her.

“I don’t know. I always wanted what Mom and Dad had. And at first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three…and now I’m like, maybe I won’t have any. Maybe I’ll just be a good aunt.

“At this moment in my life, I feel like maybe I’m not supposed to have kids and all that.”

Ever the pragmatist, Khloé jumps back in, and informs Kim that the marriage she’d been putting on a pedestal—that of mom Kris Jenner and her dad Robert Kardashian—didn’t actually last.

“But Mom and Dad got a divorce, and she met Bruce,” says Khloé. “And you were a child; you don’t know what Mom and Dad had. As an outsider looking in, it probably looked like paradise.”

With that, the tell-it-like-it-is Kardashian offers up one last piece of advice to her big sis: “Oh my God. Don’t be dramatic all of a sudden!”

We’re not so sure about that sudden part, but this much we know: everyone could do with a little Khloé in their life. Especially Kim, and especially now.
